Hey Guys...well actually hello myself cuz other than me nobody actually reads these blogs...but in the slight chance that you so misfortunatley found my blog; hello to you.
I havent written in absolutley ages about 5 months i think, ive been busy and its also disappointing when nobody reads ur ramblings!! :)
But...i was looking thru my facebook profile and i realised that it had a link to this site so i decided to blog on my awesome past week!
This last week i went to mid year conference which is run as apart of focus (fellowship of christian uni students) and i pressure any tasmanian uni students reading this to seriously consider looking Focus up and coming to myc next year.
Nehoo it was an amazing week.there were full on bible studies and teachings on Jesus' crucification and what it means in our life and how it fulfills the old testament, interesting electives and it was very relaxing and it was great meeting a whole bunch of new ppl who are christians and are having similar life experiences and making similar decisions as i am. Sam Green was the main speaker and organiser and his insight into the bible and his knowledge of the bible was inspiring and gave perspective on many themes throughout the bible that we often give little thought to. I have come away feeling very challenged about a number of areas in my christian walk and really wanting to delve into the bible and really think through issues and become much more active in my knowledge of the bible..umm like instead of just listening to sermons etc actually looking it up later and really finding out more and more for myself by reading Gods word and other resources!! Its really exciting!!
I might if i have time and can be bothered put up some of the notes and write about some of the things that really were thought provoking and challenging to me.
Other than bible studies, talks and seminars we had alot of fun playing lords and scumbags and other card games, crazy games, taboo....which was hilarously funny and some random stuff came out of it!! :) We also played basketball and soccer (the final game my team won!!! HOORAY!!). we also had a talent night which was also full of laughter and fun!!
So i suggest you go next because i am definitley!! :) it is well worth it!
Neway after a week on camp beds and going to bed late and getting up early im ready to hit the sack :) so if anyone is reading i say adieu till next
time.

I read your post :-)
So it's not completely pointless.
Hope you're having a ball up at Launie!
