Human Trafficking

You know those times when something comes up over and over again that makes you think thats its not coincidence but God trying to get your attention. I think this is one of those times. I have a passion for kids, thats the area in which i want to work! Kids are so important, they are the future, they are precious and fragile and in todays society they are often pretty screwed up! I could go on and on about a number of things all day!! My particular passion/heart is for abused kids. These kids are who i want to work with, in lots of different areas and fields such as kids programs, camps, social work, health work etc etc. Neway I had never really paid anymind to human trafficking especially the selling and buying kids for sex work. I had heard about it and was like woah thats shocking but thats pretty much as far as it went. Anyway why i think God is trying to get my attention is that Ive had and heard a number of conversations about this in the last two weeks. I was talking to my friend and she just read a book about it, i went to a concert and after i was talking to people about it and a couple of other things then yesterday at the prayer meeting it was brought up in prayer then i had a conversation with the same lady at last nights church meeting about it. and thinking about it and praying about it alot recently. i mean this is right down my field! I feel so angry and horrified at the abuse! to kids SOOO young...like around 3 or 4 even! Its disgusting! I hurt just thinking about it, my sister is 6 and i cant even comprehend how somebody could steal or SELLL their child!! and then use them for sex and sell them for sex! i cannot even begin to understand! But these kids! Imagine the rejection, confusion, abuse, unloved they must have, ARGHHH it makes me sooooo dskldfjaskajhashdkl!!! Awareness needs to be made! There are more people in SLAVERY now then ever before! One person cant do anything but a group, everyone getting involved, then maybe something can happen? Pray is sooo important too. This should be on peoples minds, a topic that comes up reguarly! Its sooo prevalent in EVERY country! Neway i would love to get more involved especially would love a chance to work with the kids who have been stolen back/rescued etc. i really think its something that i might end up doing...it fits in with the other things that im interested in and who knows it might be part of Gods plan for my life? But even if that never happens i still want to do something about it now!
